Details
Skunk #1 delivers 15% to 18% THC together with that great skunk taste and very reasonable yields. It's compact and quick and packed full of landrace genetics for a hassle-free grow indoors or outdoors. This strain has been around since the 1970s and is still a best-seller today. That speaks for itself.
At 15% to 18% THC, Skunk #1 has enough power to tackle moderate pain and lift you out of low moods, without blowing you away with its THC-power. This is an old-school Indica dominant so the initial lift mellows into a super-chilled full-body stone for the ultimate in physical and mental relaxation.
When it comes to taste, the clue is in the name. This isn't just a skunk strain, it's the skunk strain. Whenever you see a strain with skunk in the name, this is almost certainly the strain which has provided the earthy, robust pungency to balance out the other side of the genetics.
Although Skunk #1 is often thought of as a classic Indica, it's actually only just Indica dominant (about 65/35). That means that it likes to grow on the larger side for modern Indicas, typically around 1.2M (indoor minimum) to 1.5M (outdoor maximum), but it also means that it's fairly branchy as Indicas go, so it is a good candidate for low stress training. Indoors Skunk #1 needs about 8 to 10 weeks of flowering time and will yield up to 500g/m2 and outdoors you can expect to collect your crop around mid October and can bag up to 450g per plant.
Genetically, Skunk #1 is packed full of landrace genetics in the shape of Afghani, Acapulco Gold, and Colombian Gold, so it's little wonder it's so robust.
Use Skunk #1 at night for pain, insomnia, stress and depression.
